About

I make dense systems readable at a glance.

A heads-up display is the craft of rendering live, high-stakes state so it can be read in a moment, under pressure. That is what I have been doing for sixteen years — in private-wealth platforms, a nuclear-maintenance console, a chatbot holding a decision tree inside a message bubble. Industries that never called it a HUD, but that is what it was.

01 · What I do now

I'm a senior product designer at Avaloq, working on the interfaces private bankers and wealth managers use to run other people's money — the kind of system where a mislabelled field is not a papercut but a liability. Before that, five and a half years at Accenture's Liquid Studio, designing enterprise products for regulated clients.

I also build things end to end. SariSari Snaps is a direct-to-consumer product I designed, specified, and shipped solo — the physical product, the functional spec, and a deployed web app now selling across three marketplaces. I drove the code with AI agents, which is worth saying plainly: the leverage was the specification. Agents will build precisely what you can define, and defining it — the states, the rules, the edge cases — is the design work. That is the same skill this whole site is about, pointed at my own product instead of a client's.

02 · The through-line

The video-game-UI instinct and the enterprise career are not two people. Both are about the same problem: dense information, live state, real consequence, and a reader who has one second to understand it. A holdings table rendering a null value and a HUD reporting fuel state are the same design problem wearing different clothes.

So I lead with the work, not the résumé. The years and the titles are evidence of scale and consequence — they belong inside the case studies, where you can see what they actually bought. Up front, the only question worth answering is whether I can make it. Look around; that's the argument.

03 · Track record

Sixteen years in practice, and an NN/g Certified UX Expert (#1046866). The work has run across regulated and high-stakes domains — private banking and wealth management, pharmaceutical and clinical systems, energy and industrial operations, and public-sector health. One recurring role: getting many stakeholders to agree on a single deterministic rule, then carrying it all the way into what ships.

A career highlight from the public record: TESSA, a conversational career coach built with Plan International Philippines to help young Filipino jobseekers. Its outcome data belongs to Plan International and isn't mine to publish — so the proof I can offer is that I was invited to teach the work: Developing Design-Led Virtual Agents for People (DevCon, Feb 2019) and Leadership through Design (Nov 2019), both on the MiniFFC record (opens in a new tab) .
